“I started skiing when I was 3 and I started alpine ski racing when I was 5 in Bloomington, Minnesota at Hyland Hills on Team Gilboa. I raced all the way through my senior year of high school, 13 seasons(?), but after my first hip surgery at 16, I burned out on ski racing and decided not to pursue it in college. After graduating from the University of Missouri with a journalism degree, I moved to Denver, Colorado where I rediscovered my love for freeskiing and eventually landed at FREESKIER Magazine as the Assistant Editor. After ending my time at FREESKIER at the beginning of the pandemic, I decided to use my departure as an opportunity to move to Idaho and pursue my own ski sponsorships, as well as producing my own ski films.”
